Although based in Gippsland, Web Feats can design sites for schools located anywhere, provided you are able to supply some images to work with where travel to your school is impractical. I also design sites for purposes other than education.

Web Feats websites can be managed by schools themselves
One of the biggest problems principals find is once they have a web site, they are unable to update it and it inevitably goes "stale".
The content of your website is able to be managed and updated by your school without the need for a third party.
Web Feats trains a member of your staff on site on site in the procedures for updating the website. Free software is provided to enable your school to do this.

Will the Ultranet replace existing school websites?
No.
The Ultranet will include a school portal that can be customised to reflect school colours and logos. However this site will only be available to the school community, not the wider public.
Therefore, schools may choose to maintain their existing school websites so that the prospective students, parents and staff have access to school information.

I studied Visual Arts at Monash Uni & Web Design at Tafe.
I have been teaching full time for over 20 years in secondary schools in Victoria in the areas of Visual Communication & Design, Art and English.
In the past few years I have continued to teach part - time whilst building my web design business.
It is this teaching experience that has given me a unique insight to the particular needs of schools when it comes to Web Design.
